This site exists because I love sumo. I also love to make a choice group of people love it with me.

I have been watching sumo for years. Long enough to know that the joy of it is not just in champions or trophies, but in patterns. In stubborn rikishi. In bad habits that never quite get fixed. In the quiet drama of a mid-banzuke bout that most people skip.

I built this site to give that kind of attention a proper home.

This is where the league lives. The rules. The rankings. The drafts. The arguments. It is meant to feel slightly official and slightly unnecessary. Like a real governing body that no one asked for but everyone secretly appreciates.

I run this as commissioner. That mostly means keeping things organized, explaining rules more than once, and pretending the rankings are more objective than they really are.

If you are here, you are already in on the joke. You know that sumo is equal parts power, ritual, and chaos. Fantasy just gives us another way to enjoy it.
